Kenadie Elaine
Kenadie is my daughter, she turned 7 this January. She really is a great kid, I know everyone says that about their kids but I really do believe she is pretty well rounded. I have been blessed to stay home with her which means, i am to thank and blame for everything :) She is a typical girl, she loves tea sets and flowers and babies of all kinds. She is very close with her dad, although I love this, I am sometimes jealous of their relationship. She really enjoys being with him and doing just about anything he likes to do. She is growing up so fast, watching her change and mature is really amazing. We love her and are so blessed to have her in our lives, she makes it exciting.
Cooper
Cooper Thomas
Baby Cooper was born May 20th. We are so excited to see how a little boy fits into our mix. We are so blessed to have him and love him so much already. Kenadie is such a great big sister and is so willing to help. We have had such a great time as a family together. I am looking forward to seeing him grow up and seeing what his personality will be like and how different or alike he is to Kenadie. Having a son is a little different then a girl for some reason. Its hard to explain but its just something about raising boys to be good men. The world needs more good Godly men! I hope he is just like Eric...
I would really like to say something profound about myself here but honestly I am still figuring it all out. I am a micro managing type which while that does create a lot of trouble for me, it has also allowed me to stay home with my kids and be able to live off very little income while my husband was in school and still make it all work. Our family is in this stage where we are striving for a better life while also learning to be content until God shows us what and where this other life is. With so many of our friends and families lives and marriages falling apart, we are striving to stay close to God and follow His path which is SO hard to see sometimes. So against all odds, we stand strong and get through day to day learning where and when to take our next steps together as a family.
